Student payments
Recording what students owe and have paid, instalments, proofs, and refunds.
LearnFeed records what each student owes you and what they have paid. It is a ledger for money you collect — LearnFeed takes no commission on it.
A payment's life

| pending | Recorded but not yet confirmed by you. |
| confirmed | Counted against the student's balance. |
| refunded | Returned. Stays on the record rather than disappearing. |
Proofs
- A student can upload a transfer receipt against what they owe.
- Staff see the proof and confirm or reject it.
- Proofs are private to the academy's staff and the student who uploaded them.
Instalments
An instalment plan splits the agreed total across the number of payments the cohort allows. The balance is always the agreed total less confirmed payments, so a discount, a partial payment and a refund all land on the same number.
Refunding is a recorded action, not a deletion. The original payment stays visible so the history reads as what happened rather than as a payment that was never made.
